  • Clippers' Norman Powell: Pours in 20 points in return

Powell (lower leg) scored 20 points (7-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT) and added one rebound and one assist across 25 minutes in Sunday's 121-107 loss to the 76ers. Cleared to play after missing the Clippers' previous three games with a lower leg contusion, Powell stepped back into his familiar sixth-man role and outscored all of the other seven Los Angeles reserves that saw action, 20-18. Powell's scoring contributions came with little peripheral production, but the 30-year-old has shown the rare ability to get his offense efficiently despite attempting 5.1 three-pointers per contest on the season. After the 3-for-5 showing from downtown Sunday, Powell is now connecting on three-point attempts at a career-best 43.8 percent clip, a top-10 conversion rate in the NBA.

  • Clippers' Norman Powell: Good to go Sunday

Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue said Powell (lower leg) will be available for Sunday's game against Philadelphia, Law Murray of The Athletic reports. Powell is cleared for action following a three-game absence due to a lower leg contusion. He had averaged 28.0 minutes per game over his nine appearances in March before his recent absence and isn't expected to face any restrictions Sunday.

  • Clippers' Norman Powell: Questionable to play Sunday

Powell (lower leg) is questionable to play Sunday against the 76ers, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports. Powell missed Friday's matchup against the Trail Blazers and has missed three games in a row, so it wouldn't be surprising if that streak moves further Sunday. If that's the case, Amir Coffey, Bones Hyland and Brandon Boston could all see an increased run off the bench.

  • Clippers' Norman Powell: Out Friday

Powell (lower leg) will not play in Friday's game versus the Trail Blazers, Law Murray of The Athletic reports. Powell's absence will mark his third straight. His next chance to suit up will come Sunday against the 76ers. In his absence, Amir Coffey, Bones Hyland and Brandon Boston are candidates to absorb his reserve minutes.

  • Clippers' Norman Powell: Listed as questionable

Powell (leg) is questionable for Friday's game versus Portland. Powell remains day-to-day after missing the past two games for the Clippers. In addition to Powell, Terance Mann (shoulder) is also considered questionable. If the Clippers are shorthanded again, they could turn to players like Amir Coffey, Bones Hyland, Brandon Boston and Jordan Miller.

  • Clippers' Norman Powell: Sitting out Wednesday

Powell (lower leg) won't play in Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports. It seemed as though Powell was trending toward playing after participating in shootaround Wednesday morning. However, he'll end up missing his second consecutive contest with a lower left leg contusion. In his stead, expect, Amir Coffey and Brandon Boston to take on larger roles, while Jordan Miller could crack the rotation once again. Powell's next chance to play will come Friday in a rematch with Portland.

  • Clippers' Norman Powell: Active at shootaround

Powell (lower leg) participated in shootaround ahead of Wednesday's game versus the Trail Blazers, Law Murray of The Athletic reports. Powell is officially listed as questionable for Wednesday's contest due to a left lower leg contusion. However, Powell's participation in shootaround is a good sign of his availability against Portland.

  • Clippers' Norman Powell: Officially deemed questionable

Powell (lower leg) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game versus the Trail Blazers. Powell is in danger of missing his second straight game Wednesday due to a left lower leg contusion but did travel with the team. If Powell is ruled out, Amir Coffey should continue to receive increased playing time.

  • Clippers' Norman Powell: Uncertain for Wednesday

Powell (lower leg) traveled with the Clippers to Portland, but it's unclear if he'll play Wednesday against the Trail Blazers, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports. Powell tweaked his left leg in Friday's loss to the Pelicans and was sidelined in Sunday's loss to the Hawks while sporting a boot. The Clippers' official injury report for Wednesday's game should be released later Tuesday, but Powell looks like he'll be listed as questionable for the upcoming contest in a best-case scenario.

  • Clippers' Norman Powell: Out Sunday

Powell (lower leg) is out for Sunday's game against the Hawks, Law Murray of The Athletic reports. Powell tweaked his left leg during Friday's game against the Pelicans and he will ultimately be unavailable Sunday. The 30-year-old pro was spotted in a boot ahead of Sunday's matchup, so he could be in for a multi-game absence. Amir Coffey and Brandon Boston could see extra run sans Powell.

  • Clippers' Norman Powell: Questionable to play Sunday

Powell is listed as questionable to face the Hawks on Sunday due to a left lower leg injury, Law Murray of The Athletic reports. Powell suffered the injury during Friday's 112-104 loss to the Pelicans, and his questionable tag isn't surprising considering he was spotted in crutches following that loss. If Powell ends up being unavailable, then Amir Coffey and Brandon Boston could be in line to see more minutes Sunday.

  • Clippers' Norman Powell: Tweaks left leg Friday

Powell suffered a left leg injury during Friday's 112-104 loss to the Pelicans, Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times reports. He finished with 15 points (4-9 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 5-5 FT), one assist and one steal across 26 minutes. Powell was injured while fighting for a loose ball, and while he managed to stay in the game, his status for Sunday's game against Atlanta could be in jeopardy considering he was using crutches in the locker room after Friday's contest. If Powell is unable to suit up, the Clippers could turn to Bones Hyland and Amir Coffey to pick up some backcourt minutes.

  • Clippers' Norman Powell: Season-high 26 points Sunday

Powell chipped in 26 points (9-21 FG, 3-14 3Pt, 5-6 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and one steal over 31 minutes during Sunday's 124-117 loss to Milwaukee. Powell didn't have the most efficient game, but he managed to pace the Clippers in scoring in the absences of Kawhi Leonard (groin) and Paul George (knee). Powell came into Sunday's contest shooting 44.6 percent from three on 5.0 attempts per game, but he's gone 5-for-23 over his last two games.

  • Clippers' Norman Powell: Leads bench in scoring Saturday

Powell posted 18 points (6-14 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds and one steal over 27 minutes during Saturday's 112-102 win over the Bulls. Powell's scoring off the bench is in full demand as the Clippers navigate the rest of the regular season without Russell Westbrook (hand). Powell has scored in double digits in three of the four games without Westbrook, and the former will likely continue to see more playing time moving forward.

  • Clippers' Norman Powell: Pours in 24 points

Powell amassed 24 points (9-13 FG, 6-8 3Pt), three rebounds and one steal in 27 minutes during Sunday's 89-88 win over the Timberwolves. This was one of Powell's best performances of the season, and it was the 11th game of his career in which he hit at least six triples. Needless to say, he's one of a few players that the Clippers will rely on to soak up some of Russell Westbrook's usage as he recovers from a fractured wrist.

  • Clippers' Norman Powell: Logs 21 points with starting lineup

Powell provided 21 points (8-17 FG, 5-9 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists and one steal in 37 minutes during Sunday's 123-107 loss to the Kings. Paul George (knee) sat out Sunday's game, and Powell abandoned his typical sixth-man role to take a spot with the first unit. Surprisingly, he ended the contest as the leading scorer for the Clippers, but a lower total from Kawhi Leonard limited the team's ability to compete with the Kings' offensive onslaught. Powell will return to his usual role in short order, but he's a valuable fantasy option if George or Leonard take the night off.

  • Clippers' Norman Powell: Available, starting Sunday

Powell will start Sunday's game against the Kings, Justin Russo of the 'Clip & Roll' podcast reports. Powell found himself on the injury report ahead of Sunday's game due to an ankle issue that held him out of Saturday's contest, but he will be able to play through it. Powell will be making his first start of the season with Paul George (knee) out of the lineup.

  • Clippers' Norman Powell: Late scratch versus Grizzlies

Powell will not play in Friday's matchup with the Grizzlies due to a sprained right ankle, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports. It is unclear when Powell sustained the injury, as he was not on the injury report heading into Friday's game. In his absence, Brandon Boston and Amir Coffey could be candidates for increased minutes on the wing off the bench.

  • Clippers' Norman Powell: Powers late rally for the win

Powell finished with 21 points (8-13 FG, 5-7 3Pt) and two rebounds in 31 minutes during Wednesday's 130-125 win over the Warriors. Powell drilled four three-pointers over the final seven minutes, helping to erase the Warriors' double-digit lead. The dynamic sixth man handled additional duties with Kawhi Leonard (thigh) on the sidelines, and joined James Harden and Paul George with a 20-plus point total. Powell's shot volume tends to fluctuate, which can result in occasional below-average results. Since he averages only 2.6 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game, his fantasy potential is dependent on his ability to find the bottom of the basket.

  • Clippers' Norman Powell: Provides spark from bench

Powell closed Wednesday's 117-106 loss to the Pelicans with 18 points (7-14 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound and one steal in 26 minutes. Outscoring Paul George and Kawhi Leonard is definitely a rarity for Powell, but he managed that feat in Wednesday's loss. He ended the game as the team's second-highest scorer behind James Harden, and his exceptional efforts from the bench have played a key role in the Clippers' recent success. Powell can sometimes offer good secondary numbers but is most notably a scoring threat in his current role, which caps his fantasy viability.
