Well, at least one person won't have to deal with the day-to-day drama of Stan Van Gundy vs. Dwight Howard.

The Orlando Magic announced on Friday that forward Hedo Turkoglu will undergo surgery on his face after taking an elbow from New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony during a Thursday night game.

The Associated Press has the details.

Magic forward Hedo Turkoglu will under surgery for a facial fracture and miss at least the final three weeks of the regular season.

The team announced the news late Friday, a day after Turkoglu left the second quarter of the Magic’s 96-80 loss to the New York Knicks.

His surgery is slated for Saturday. He will be re-evaluated after three weeks to determine his playoff availability.
Through Friday night's games, the Magic were 32-23, good for the No. 6 spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Turkoglu, 33, is averaging 10.7 points, 4.5 assists and 3.8 rebounds for the Magic this season.
