LeBron James was the first person everybody wanted to hear from as the final buzzer of Game 7 sounded, and the Cavs emerged victorious with a 93-89 win over the defending champion Warriors. The Cleveland Cavaliers' legend came through on his promise to bring a championship to the Cavs' franchise and his home. It wasn't the easiest road, as they became the first team in NBA history to come back from down 3-1 in the NBA Finals to win the championship, but it was the road they successfully traveled.

After the game, Doris Burke found LeBron in the middle of the floor, as he was fighting back tears and soaking in the moment. He told Burke, "I don't know why we want to take the hardest road. I don't know why the man above wants to give me the hardest road."

It summed up the journey for the Cavs so much, as he came through on the goal of winning the championship for the Cavs when he came back to the franchise in 2014 after winning two championships in Miami.

The "Cleveland, this is for you!" scream is a great, emotional moment. Over the last three games, when they were one loss away from their season ending, James averaged 36.3 points, 11.7 rebounds, 9.7 assists, 3.0 blocks, and 3.0 steals while shooting 50.6 percent from the field and 42.1 percent from deep. That is why he's an all-time great. It's also why he was the unanimous MVP without anybody needing to think much about it.
