One of the more astonishing aspects of Allen Iverson's Hall of Fame career was how often he would absorb blow after blow on his frequent aggressive drives to the basket. Iverson was always slight of frame, too, yet despite getting knocked down whenever he attacked the rim, he would get back up as if nothing happened.

This points to Iverson's strength and fearlessness. Yet the one thing Iverson never did to help him get stronger and make his body more prepared for his frequent knockdowns was lift weights.

So why did Iverson never lift weights? Well because they are too heavy.

At least that's what Iverson said while being honored at the Sixers game Friday for his recent induction into the Hall of Fame:
