The 2012 Cup Series champion captured his first checkered flag at the track in this race in 2014 and repeated the feat six years later, when he led 184 of the 301 laps.
Keselowski has posted eight other top-fives, including a pair of runner-up finishes, and six more top-10s in 23 Cup Series starts at New Hampshire. The 40-year-old from Michigan, who was fifth in last year's race, enters this weekend having finished 10th or better in eight of his last nine appearances there. Keselowski made 10 starts at Loudon while competing in the Xfinity Series and recorded two victories, a pair of runner-ups and three third-places while finishing in the top 10 in each race.
Another surprise: Taranto is fading Chase Elliott, even though he's atop the NASCAR Cup Series standings. The 28-year-old from Georgia has registered just one win this season, but is the current Cup Series points leader and tops all drivers with a 9.12 average finish. Elliott is coming off back-to-back top-fives, as he was fourth at Sonoma and third last weekend at Iowa.
The 2020 Cup Series champion has yet to make it to Victory Lane at New Hampshire and has posted only three top-10 finishes in 10 starts.
