Orioles' Dean Kremer: Grabs second win
Kremer (2-2) picked up the win Wednesday over the Guardians, allowing one run on four hits and a walk across 5.1 innings. He struck out two.
Kremer was effective Wednesday, with the lone run against him coming on a Gabriel Arias home run in the third inning. It's a strong bounce-back effort from the 29-year-old Kremer, who allowed six runs on three homers in his previous outing versus Arizona. Kremer will carry a 6.41 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 13:4 K:BB into his next start, currently scheduled for next week in Washington.

Orioles' Dean Kremer: Another rough outing
Kremer (1-2) took the loss Wednesday against the Diamondbacks, allowing six runs on eight hits and a walk over 4.2 innings. He struck out four.
Kremer fell victim to the long ball Wednesday, giving up three home runs, including back-to-back blasts to Pavin Smith and Josh Naylor in the fifth inning. The 29-year-old Kremer has struggled to an 8.16 ERA through his first three starts (14.1 innings) while posting a 1.67 WHIP and 11:3 K:BB. Kremer will look to get on track in his next outing, currently scheduled for next week against Cleveland.

Orioles' Dean Kremer: Inefficient in Friday's loss
Kremer (1-1) took the loss Friday as the Orioles fell 8-2 to the Royals, giving up three runs (two earned) on eight hits over 4.1 innings. He struck out one without walking a batter.
The right-hander didn't allow a lot of hard contact -- the only extra-base hit off Kremer was a Salvador Perez double in the first inning -- but his pitch count ran up to 88 (63 strikes) before he was lifted, and he was far from dominant with only five swinging strikes. Kremer will carry a 6.52 ERA and 7:2 K:BB through 9.2 innings into his next start, which lines up to come on the road next week in Arizona.

Orioles' Dean Kremer: Picks up win vs. Blue Jays
Kremer (1-0) got the win over Toronto on Saturday, allowing five runs on five hits and two walks over 5.1 innings, striking out six in the Orioles' 9-5 win.
Kremer was shaky out of the gate, allowing three consecutive hits to open the game and two runs in the first inning. He gave up a two-run homer to Andres Gimenez in the third inning and allowed another run in the fifth, but Baltimore's offense had plenty of firepower, and Kremer scratched out the win. The righty produced a 4.10 ERA in 2024 and a 4.12 ERA the year before and profiles as a solid middle-of-the-rotation arm for a playoff contender in Baltimore. He is tentatively lined up for a road start against Kansas City next week.

Orioles' Dean Kremer: Hit hard in Grapefruit League start
Kremer gave up six runs on six hits and two walks while taking the loss in Friday's Grapefruit League game against Detroit, striking out three over three innings.
It was a struggle for Kremer, who served up three home runs Friday and hasn't looked particularly sharp in the Grapefruit League. Over three appearances (two starts) this spring, the 29-year-old right-hander has a 9.00 ERA, 1.88 WHIP and an 8:5 K:BB across eight frames. Kremer posted an unimpressive 4.10 ERA over 129.2 innings (24 starts) in 2024, but he still appears to be locked into a spot in Baltimore's rotation to begin 2025, as Grayson Rodriguez (triceps) is slated to start the season on the injured list.

Orioles' Dean Kremer: Cruises to eighth win
Kremer (8-10) earned the win Tuesday versus the Yankees, allowing one run on three hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out three.
The Baltimore right-hander controlled a vaunted New York lineup at Yankee Stadium over 83 pitches to clinch a playoff spot for the Orioles. The lone blemish on Kremer's evening came in the fourth when he allowed a solo homer to Aaron Judge. With this performance, Kremer lowered his second-half ERA from 3.98 to 3.81 to go with a 1.27 WHIP and 59:26 K:BB across 61 innings. He is currently projected to make his final start of the regular season against the Twins in Minnesota this weekend.
