Cameron (6-8) notched the win Wednesday against Minnesota, allowing one run on two hits and one walk in eight innings. He struck out nine.
Cameron struck again Wednesday, spinning eight innings while giving up one or no runs in a second consecutive start. The left-hander has offered the Royals plenty of length lately, throwing at least seven frames in four of his past five outings, and he's conceded just the aforementioned one run in his last three appearances to give him an improved 4.37 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 116:40 K:BB over 123.2 innings during 2026. Cameron has unenviable matchup against the Dodgers in Los Angeles for his next turn through the rotation.

Royals' Noah Cameron: Stellar in no-decision
Cameron allowed just one hit and two walks across eight scoreless innings in a no-decision Thursday against the Twins. He struck out seven.
Cameron was nearly perfect Thursday, as he held the Twins without a hit through six innings before Ryan Jeffers led off the seventh with a single. Cameron has now held opponents scoreless in back-to-back starts, allowing just three hits across 13 frames in that span. The southpaw has lowered his ERA to 4.59 across 115.2 innings this season with a 1.34 WHIP and 107:39 K:BB. Cameron will look to keep rolling in his next outing, tentatively scheduled as a rematch with Minnesota next week at home.

Royals' Noah Cameron: Dazzles in matchup with Skubal
Cameron didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 2-1 loss to the Tigers, allowing two hits and three walks over seven scoreless innings of relief. He struck out eight.
Cameron rose to the occasion in a duel with two-time AL Cy Young winner Tarik Skubal, but unfortunately for the Royals, Beck Way gave up two runs in the first inning as the opener. Cameron tossed 58 of 97 pitches for strikes as he fanned at least seven batters for the third time in four July outings, but it's been a bumpy month for the 27-year-old southpaw despite his 25:12 K:BB over 24 innings, as he has a 4.88 ERA and 1.42 WHIP in that span even after Friday's performance. Cameron will look to build on this effort in his next trip to the mound, which is scheduled to come on the road next week in Minnesota.

Royals' Noah Cameron: Set to pitch after opener Friday
Cameron is expected to pitch in bulk relief behind opening pitcher Beck Way in Friday's game against the Tigers, Jaylon T. Thompson of The Kansas City Star reports.
Way will likely cover the first inning or two before Cameron takes over for what will be his first career relief appearance in the majors. Cameron allowed at least five runs in four of his last five starts, so the Royals will hope to get better results from him by deploying him out of the bullpen behind an opener.

Cameron (5-8) took the loss against the Padres on Sunday, allowing seven runs on nine hits and two walks with one strikeout over five innings.
Cameron surrendered runs in three separate frames, generating nine whiffs on 90 pitches and allowing 11 hard-hit balls. The 27-year-old has now lost four of his past five starts, yielding five earned runs or more in each of those defeats. He'll take a 5.27 ERA, 1.46 WHIP and 92:34 K:BB across 100.2 innings into a road matchup with the Tigers next weekend.

Royals' Noah Cameron: Tallies nine punchouts in loss
Cameron (5-7) took the loss against Baltimore on Sunday, allowing five runs on five hits and two walks while striking out nine batters over seven innings.
Cameron allowed a modest seven baserunners in his seven frames, but three of those rounded the bases on home runs. It was the second time this year that the left-hander has served up three homers in a game, but on a more positive note, he also struck out a season-high nine batters. Cameron has improved his strikeout rate over his rookie campaign, but he's otherwise had a shaky first half, posting a 4.89 ERA and 1.42 WHIP over 95.2 innings spanning 18 starts.

Royals' Noah Cameron: Fans seven in Monday's win
Cameron (5-6) earned the win against the Phillies on Monday, allowing one run on six hits and five walks while striking out seven across five innings.
It wasn't exactly smooth sailing for Cameron, who allowed at least two baserunners in each of his first three frames. However, he limited the damage to just one run on an RBI double from Alec Bohm in the first inning, and Cameron received plenty of support from his Royals teammates, who tagged Cristopher Sanchez for nine runs before the Phillies' starter was chased out of the game in the fourth. It was the fourth time in 17 starts this season that Cameron recorded at least seven strikeouts and the sixth time he's yielded one run or less. He'll take a 4.77 ERA and 1.45 WHIP across 88.2 innings into his next start, tentatively slated for this weekend on the road against the Orioles.

Royals' Noah Cameron: Unravels in third inning
Cameron (4-6) took the loss Tuesday against the Rays, allowing six runs on nine hits and three walks over 3.2 innings.
Cameron fell apart in the third inning, surrendering all six of his runs while allowing seven hits in the frame, including back-to-back home runs by Junior Caminero and Ryan Vilade. He returned for the fourth but was lifted after allowing two more singles. To make matters worse, Cameron failed to record a strikeout for the first time this season. The left-hander has now been hit hard in four straight starts, allowing at least seven hits in each outing while posting a 9.00 ERA. On the season, he owns a 4.95 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 75:25 K:BB across 83.2 innings. Cameron will seek to turn things around in his next start, scheduled against the Phillies at home.

It was a tough night for Cameron, who gave up three runs in the third inning and another two in the fourth. The left-hander has now given up 12 earned runs over 14.1 frames in his last three starts after posting a 1.13 ERA across 24 innings in his previous four outings. Royals' Noah Cameron: Lasts just long enough for win
Cameron (4-4) earned the win over St. Louis on Thursday, allowing four runs (three earned) on eight hits and two walks while striking out six batters over five innings.
Cameron had a rough first inning, when the Cardinals put up a pair of runs on a hit, two walks, a wild pitch and an error. However, the Royals offense had the lefty hurler's back, posting seven runs over the ensuing two frames to hand him a big lead. It wasn't exactly smooth sailing for Cameron from there, as he gave up two more runs and needed 108 pitches to labor through five innings, but KC's offensive explosion provided the support needed for him to emerge with the win. Cameron bounced back with six punchouts and 14 whiffs after notching just one strikeout in his previous start, and he kept the ball in the park after allowing two long balls in that prior outing. He'll carry a 4.20 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 70:19 K:BB through 75 frames into his next start, which lines up to be a road game in Tampa Bay.

Royals' Noah Cameron: Can't escape fifth inning Saturday
Cameron didn't factor into the decision Saturday against the Astros. He allowed four runs on seven hits, including two home runs, while striking out one across 4.1 innings.
Cameron wasn't at his best Saturday and saw the end of a four-start streak in which he'd given up two or fewer earned runs. This was also the first time the southpaw gave up multiple homers in a game since April 18, when he allowed two long balls against the Yankees. Cameron has a 4.11 ERA and 1.21 WHIP across 13 starts and 70 innings this season, but his 3.49 FIP suggests better times are ahead. He's slated to make his next start at home against the Cardinals.

Royals' Noah Cameron: Resurgence continues in third win
Cameron (3-4) notched the win Sunday against the Twins, allowing one unearned run on three hits and no walks in six innings. He struck out seven.
Cameron had posted a 5.55 ERA over his first seven starts of the year, but he's been a much different pitcher as of late. The 26-year-old southpaw has logged four quality starts across his past five outings, during which he boasts a sparkling 1.80 ERA, 0.67 WHIP and 31:3 K:BB covering 30 innings. Cameron, who now has an improved 3.84 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 63:17 K:BB over 65.2 frames overall, will hope to keep the good times rolling at home versus the Astros his next time out.

Royals' Noah Cameron: Dazzles over 7 IP in no-decision
Cameron didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against the Reds, allowing one run on one hit and no walks with eight strikeouts across seven innings.
It was perhaps the best start of Cameron's career, as he matched his career high in innings pitched. His only blemish was a solo homer allowed to Spencer Steer in the fifth inning. Cameron retired all other 21 batters he faced, and it still wasn't enough to get the win as the Kansas City bullpen gave up one run in each of the eighth, ninth and 10th innings. Cameron has three quality starts in his last four outings and owns a 4.22 ERA and 56:17 K:BB across 59.2 innings this season. His 3.38 FIP suggests he's been a bit unlucky, and the left-hander's strikeout rate is up while his walk rate is down compared to his 2025 rookie campaign.

Cameron (2-4) allowed two runs on four hits and a walk while striking out four over five-plus innings to take the loss Wednesday versus the Yankees.
Cameron put in a fine effort but didn't get any help from his teammates. This was his fifth straight outing without a win, a span in which he's allowed 13 runs (12 earned) across 26.1 innings. That's right in line with his body of work over the course of the season -- he's at a 4.61 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 48:17 K:BB through 52.2 innings over 10 starts. Cameron's next start is projected to be on the road versus the Reds.
