Hill struggled mightily in his limited time with Detroit back in April with a 10.27 ERA over seven innings, and his results haven't been overly impressive across his 15 outings at Triple-A (4.78 ERA, 1.69 WHIP in 26.1 innings). Though he's largely served in a relief role at Toledo, Hill built up to three innings in his most recent outing Thursday, so he could be able to provide the Tigers with a decent amount of length as a starter or primary pitcher out of the bullpen when Faedo's next turn in the rotation comes up Tuesday in Philadelphia.
