The Yankees are close to activating right-hander Joba Chamberlain from the disabled list. In fact, reports WFAN's Sweeny Murti, Chamberlain is set to be added to the active roster in time for Tuesday night's home tilt against the Orioles.

Chamberlain underwent Tommy John surgery in June of last year and then had surgery to repair a severely injured ankle in March of this year.

He'll be added to what's already perhaps the best bullpen in all of baseball. Chamberlain has a career ERA of 3.03 as a reliever with 180 strikeouts in 160.1 innings.
