Vic Black takes the loss in San Diego

Mets pitcher Vic Black (2-3) took the loss Sunday afternoon against the Padres in San Diego. Black was charged with one run on no hits and one walk over two-thirds of an inning in a 2-1 defeat. He owns a 2.01 ERA and a 1.30 WHIP over 22 1/3 innings of relief.
