Three minor moves from Saturday:
- With George Kottaras heading to Oakland in a trade, the Brewers signed catcher Humberto Quintero to a minor league contract, Jon Morosi of Fox Sports reported Saturday. Quintero is a .234/.267/.323 career hitter in 422 games between Houston, San Diego and Kansas City.
- Indians outfielder Aaron Cunningham has cleared waivers and was sent down to Triple-A Columbus, Nick Camino of WTAM Newsradio reported Saturday. Cunningham had a putrid .493 OPS in 73 games on the season.
- Houston claimed Steve Pearce off waivers from Baltimore, the Astros announced Saturday. Pearce. Houston will be his fourth organization since leaving Pittsburgh as a free agent last season, with the Twins, Yankees and Orioles employing him already this season as well.
