Philip Humber

Since his perfect game against on April 21, Philip Humber has been anything but perfect. Monday, he recorded his shortest outing of the season, as Robin Ventura lifted him from the first game of a doubleheader in Cleveland after just 2 1/3 innings. The damage? Eight runs on nine hits and two walks, with a homer and one strikeout. He threw 62 pitches in just more than two innings of work, including a three-run second and a five-run fourth.

He was gone by the time Jose Quintana walked Asdrubal Cabrera with the bases loaded to bring in his final run, scoring Casey Kotchman, who doubled in two off of Humber earlier in the inning.

He's in line for his second loss in three starts since the perfect game. His line since then is 13 1/3 IP, 21 H, 20 R, 20 ER, 12 Ks, 11 BB, 1 HBP, 5 HR.

His ERA on the season -- which was at 0.63 after the perfect game -- is now 6.83.
