The Marlins have called up left fielder Cole Gillespie from Triple-A New Orleans on Saturday, the team announced via Twitter.
Gillespie will try and help the team fill the void left behind by Giancarlo Stanton's move to the 15-day disabled list because of a fracture in his wrist.
Gillespie hit .291 with 23 RBI in 247 at-bats in Triple-A this season.
