The Nationals recalled Jhonatan Solano from Triple-A Syracuse Friday, to replace Kurt Suzuki on the active roster.
Solano will likely be the backup catcher to Wilson Ramos. He hit .167/.211/.222 in 16 games with the Nationals earlier in the season.
