Free-agent reliever Jason Isringhausen wants to pitch next season and has already drawn interest from three teams, reports CBSSports.com’s Jon Heyman.

Isringhausen’s status was up in the air after he said there was about a 70 percent chance he would retire during the offseason. But as more time passed, the 40-year-old reliever has decided to pitch at least another season.

In 45 2/3 innings with the Angels, Isringhausen had a 4.14 ERA and a 4.98 FIP last year. Over his 16 year career, Isringhausen has pitched for five teams. He’s overcome three Tommy John surgeries, and is one of 15 players with 300 saves and 50 wins.
