Braves planning to add Brandon Cunniff to bullpen

After trading closer Craig Kimbrel, the Braves now have an open spot in their bullpen. 

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution , the Braves will add Brandon Cunniff , who was recently optioned to Triple-A Gwinnett. Cunniff will join the team before Monday's Opening Day game. 

Braves general manager said Jim Johnson and Jason Grilli could possibly close games, with the team looking at Juan Jaime for that role down the road.
