Astros outfield prospect L.J. Hoes has been promoted and will meet the team for its pre-break finale Sunday against the Rays. He could start against Tampa Bay left-hander Matt Moore, per the Houston Chronicle.
Hoes has posted a fine .327/.400/.461 slash line with Triple-A Fresno.
