The ninth edition of The Match begins at 6:30 p.m. ET on Monday at The Park in West Palm Beach, Florida. The Match 2024 will feature four golfers from the PGA and LPGA Tours competing to see who can raise the most money for charity. The mixed skins format is unique for this event, as it has featured a team competition in recent years. The Match IX golfers, format
Many previous editions of this event have been hosted by private clubs or resort courses, but this year's competition is being staged at a public course. All four golfers will play from the same tee boxes on the four par-3 holes, while the women will play from shorter tees on the par-4s and par-5s. Golfers win skins by beating everyone else on that hole, with each hole being worth a designated amount of money for charity.
If there is a two-way tie for a hole, the skin gets rolled over to the next hole. The skins are going to vary in value, so the competition could be undecided until the final few holes.
