    Spector (hamstring) was a full participant in Friday's practice. The 25-year-old linebacker missed Buffalo's last three games after he was activated from injured reserve in mid-October, but it now seems as if he's moved past his hamstring issue. With Terrel Bernard (concussion) listed as questionable for Monday night's contest, Spector could see an increased role on the Bills' defense in his 2023 debut.

  • Bills' Baylon Spector: Out Sunday

    Spector (hamstring) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Bengals, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports. The second-year linebacker out of Clemson was activated from injured reserve in the middle of October, and he's now set to miss his third consecutive game since his activation. Spector appeared in six games for the Bills in 2022, recording six total tackles and playing primarily on special teams (60 percent of special teams snaps).

    The Bills designated Spector (hamstring) to return from injured reserve Wednesday. Spector has been out since suffering a hamstring injury during the preseason but is now one step closer toward making his return. The 2022 seventh-round pick was a full participant in practice Wednesday and will provide extra depth at linebacker once he's officially activated, with Matt Milano (knee) on injured reserve.

    Head coach Sean McDermott noted Sunday that Spector is considered "week-to-week" with a hamstring injury, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports. Spector left Saturday's preseason game against the Bears and did not return. The injury timeline offered by McDermott means that Spector's status for the Bills' Week 1 matchup against the Jets on Sept. 11 is up in the air.
