Kramer (undisclosed) was designated to return from injured reserve Monday, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports. Kramer was competing for a depth role on the team's offensive line when he suffered an undisclosed injury during a preseason contest. He'll now have a 21-day window to practice with the team before being added to the active roster, but he could play as soon as Sunday against the Vikings. Bears' Doug Kramer: Placed on injured reserve
The Bears placed Kramer (undisclosed) on injured reserve Thursday, Larry Mayer and Kevin Myers of the team's official site report. Kramer will now miss at least the first four games of the season after getting hurt during Saturday's preseason finale. Bears' Doug Kramer: Pulled from game Saturday
Kramer was removed from Saturday's preseason contest against the Bills after suffering an undisclosed injury, according to Adam Hoge of AllCHGO.com. Kramer apparently suffered an injury during the first half, leaving it unclear if he'll return before the end of Saturday's contest. The 2022 sixth-round pick currently projects as the Bears' third-string center behind Cody Whitehair and Lucas Patrick. Therefore, Kramer is likely a longshot to make the final 53-man roster....
