  • Seahawks' Justin Coleman: Full go Wednesday

Coleman (calf) was listed as a full participant on the Seahawks' injury report Wednesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports. Coleman has not played since Seattle's season opener due to a lingering calf injury, and he was ruled inactive ahead of Sunday's loss to New Orleans despite returning to practice in a limited fashion last Wednesday. However, the veteran's health seems to have taken some significant strides after he practiced without any limitations in Week 6. Coleman recorded five tackles over 49 defensive snaps in Week 1, and he should line up as the Seahawks' nickel corner behind Mike Jackson and Tariq Woolen when available again.

  • Dolphins' Justin Coleman: Placed on COVID-19 list

Coleman (undisclosed) was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday. Coleman has played at least 20 defensive snaps in each of the last five contests, so his potential absence would leave a big opening in Miami's secondary. If he's unable to clear protocols before the Week 16 Monday night contest against the Saints, then Trill Williams and Nik Needham would both be options for increased snaps in the slot.

  • Lions' Justin Coleman: Not living up to contract

Coleman registered 54 tackles, 13 pass breakups, one interception, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery over 16 games in 2019. Signed to a hefty four-year, $36 million contract in the offseason, Coleman played very well over the first few weeks of the season. However, he seemingly ended the year as a liability in pass coverage, and Coleman ultimately ranked among the league's most generous cornerbacks in terms of yardage allowed during the final three-fourths of the year. Since the dead money on Coleman's contract makes it highly unlikely he'll be going anywhere this offseason, the 26-year-old slot man will probably get a chance to redeem himself in 2020, but a return to his early-2019 form is no guarantee.

He also logged 45 defensive snaps during the team's playoff loss to Dallas.
