Trevathan notched a sack and four tackles in Chicago's 41-17 victory over the Jaguars on Sunday. Trevathan came into this game having posted double-digit tackles in three of the last four games, but his sack salvaged what otherwise would've been a disappointing fantasy performance. Trevathan notched 11 stops in Chicago's 33-27 victory over the Vikings on Sunday. Trevathan has now posted double-digit tackles in three of the last four games, and he should be considered a high-floor IDP option in Week 16 against the Jaguars.

  • Bears' Danny Trevathan: Solid tackle numbers

Trevathan tallied 10 stops in Chicago's 36-7 victory over the Texans on Sunday. Trevathan has provided inconsistent tackle totals throughout the season, and this was the third time this season he's posted a double-digit tackle performance. However, he hasn't notched fewer than five tackles in any of his last nine games, and he provides IDP managers with a stable scoring floor.

  • Bears' Danny Trevathan: Strong performance in defeat

Trevathan notched nine tackles in Chicago's 26-23 overtime loss to the Saints on Sunday. Trevathan was busy against a Saints offense that ran the ball 30 times while also throwing a lot of short passes, resulting in his second-best performance of the year. After starting the season slowly, he's now posted at least eight tackles in three of the last four games, and he should be rostered in most IDP leagues as a high-floor lineup option.

  • Bears' Danny Trevathan: Strong performance in victory

Trevathan posted 10 tackles in Chicago's 23-16 victory over the Panthers on Sunday. After recording just 11 tackles over the Bears' first three games, Trevathan has heated up by recording 18 stops over the last two weeks. As long as he continues to perform at this recent level, he should be considered a strong IDP option.

  • Bears' Danny Trevathan: Chance at rebound campaign

Trevathan (elbow) will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in Chicago's linebacker corps in 2020 when he returns to the starting lineup, Colleen Kane of the Chicago Tribune reports. Trevathan, who signed a three-year, $24 million extension in March, was forced to miss the final seven games of the 2019 campaign due to a significant elbow injury. Now with the benefit of a full offseason to focus on health, Trevathan's return to the starting lineup has a real chance to facilitate a bounceback for Chicago's inside linebacker corps. Teammate Roquan Smith (pectoral), who was impeded down the stretch without Trevathan, described the veteran's imminent return as "awesome" while citing the importance of his experience and mentorship.

  • Bears' Danny Trevathan: Lands on IR

Trevathan (elbow) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, Rich Campbell of the Chicago Tribune reports. With the Bears eliminated from playoff contention, they will shut down Trevathan, who has already missed the last five games. Trevathan ends his 2019 campaign with 70 tackles and a sack through nine games. Nick Kwiatkoski has started in Trevathan's place and figures to continue that role for the remainder of the season. Trevathan will be an unrestricted free agent in March.

  • Bears' Danny Trevathan: Starts week with DNP

Trevathan (elbow) didn't participate in Wednesday's practice. Trevathan hasn't practiced since suffering an ugly elbow injury in Week 10 against the Lions, and there were even discussions of IR at one point. That may still be on the table, and the 29-year-old linebacker is trending toward another absence Sunday against the Packers.

  • Bears' Danny Trevathan: Not practicing Wednesday

Trevathan (elbow) did not practice Wednesday. Trevathan has yet to practice in any capacity since suffering a serious elbow injury Week 10 against the Lions. It wouldn't be much of a surprise for Trevathan to also miss Week 12, considering that he may still have a chance of hitting IR. In any case, Nick Kwiatkoski stands to start at inside linebacker as long as Trevathan is unable to go.

  • Bears' Danny Trevathan: Could be placed on IR

Coach Matt Nagy said Monday that injured reserve "could be in the discussion" for Trevathan (elbow). Trevathan landed badly on his elbow in the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Lions, and he did not retake the field. The veteran linebacker is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Monday, the results of which should shine some light on his estimated recovery timetable and chances of hitting IR. As long as Trevathan is unable to go, expect Nick Kwiatkoski to play an expanded role on defense.

Trevathan recorded a sack and eight tackles in the Bears' 31-15 victory over Washington on Monday. With Chicago playing with a lead for most of this contest, there weren't many rushing attempts by Washington, but Trevathan led the Bears' linebackers in tackles. • Bears' Danny Trevathan: Rested against Colts

Trevathan was held out of the Bears' 27-17 win over the Colts on Saturday. Since 2015, Trevathan has averaged enough tackles per game to consistently put him on pace for 100 stops per full season. Although he's had a couple major health concerns in his career, he's only missed one game due to injury over three of the last four campaigns. Playing on a defense that's loaded with talent, he should have little trouble maintaining his status as one of the more reliable tacklers in the league. While he won't be a top-level IDP, he's worthy of a roster spot in leagues that favor strong tackle totals.

  • Bears' Danny Trevathan: Returns to action

Trevathan (hamstring) recorded one tackle (a solo) in his return to game action Saturday. Trevathan had been bothered by a hamstring issue for much of training camp, but that appears to be behind him as he and the Bears are gearing up for Week 3 of the preseason, with the regular season just around the corner. He should resume his duties as a starting inside linebacker for Chicago, and he could possess fantasy relevance as an IDP coming off an 89-tackle season despite only playing 12 games.

  • Bears' Danny Trevathan: Seven tackles in finale

Trevathan recorded seven tackles in the Week 17 loss to the VIkings to end the season with 89 tackles, two sacks, an interception and a forced fumble in 12 games. Trevathan finished the season somewhat slowly, as he averaged six tackles over the last three games, but he continued to show that he can post elite IDP numbers by collecting double-digit stops on five occasions. He's signed through the 2019 season, and as long as he remains healthy he's still an upper-echelon IDP based on his ability to pile up big tackle numbers.
