Gaines (knee/shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the Bears.
The Texans' secondary takes yet another hit, as Gaines was the replacement for Bradley Roby (suspension). Keion Crossen (foot) is listed as questionable, but if he plays, he likely will start at cornerback opposite Vernon Hargreaves. Anthony Chesley and Cornell Armstrong are the other candidates to step in.
