Ebron (knee) didn't practice Wednesday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Ebron is expected to miss multiple games after injuring his knee in Sunday's loss to the Chargers. Surgery reportedly is on the table, which might bring the veteran's season to an early end and lock in rookie Pat Freiermuth for a heavy-usage role at tight end.
