The Seahawks waived Jones on Wednesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
The Seahawks claimed Jones off waivers from the Saints back in October, but he's since been let go after failing to carve out a consistent backfield role despite numerous injuries to the position group. He'll now wait for further opportunities to compete for snaps elsewhere.
