Falcons' Sean Weatherspoon: Out for the remainder of the season

Weatherspoon (Achilles) will miss the remainder of the 2016 season, Vaughn McClure of ESPN reports.

A Monday morning MRI discovered the worst case scenario for Weatherspoon, a ruptured Achilles, and it has now been determined that his recovery process will not be complete until at least the end of the season. The veteran was third on the team with 27 tackles when he exited Sunday's game, so the Falcons will now face the task of replacing his production in the linebacker corps.
