Aldama (foot) is out for Sunday's game against the Nuggets. Aldama will end the season on the sidelines, though that's not surprising given the Grizzlies essentially decided to shut down most of their roster in the final two weeks of the campaign. Aldama will end the 2023-24 season with averages of 10.7 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.3 assists across 26.5 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less

Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Remains out for Wednesday's game
Aldama (foot) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Cavaliers. Aldama continues to deal with a right foot strain, and he'll be unavailable for a fifth consecutive game. He'll have just two more chances to suit up before the end of the regular season, with his next opportunity coming Friday against the Lakers.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Unavailable Tuesday
Aldama (foot) will be inactive for Tuesday's game against San Antonio. Aldama will miss his fourth consecutive contest due to a right foot strain. The Grizzlies' frontcourt is currently populated by GG Jackson, Brandon Clarke and Maozinha Pereira, while Lamar Stevens (groin) is doubtful for Tuesday's contest.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Out again versus 76ers
Aldama (foot) will remain sidelined for Saturday's tilt against the 76ers. Aldama's absence will mark his third straight, as he continues to deal with right foot soreness. The big man's next opportunity to suit up will come Tuesday versus the Spurs.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Won't play Friday
Aldama (foot) won't play Friday against the Pistons. Aldama was a late scratch before Wednesday's surprising win over the Bucks due to right foot soreness, and the lingering issue will prevent him from suiting up Friday. The third-year power forward is averaging 12.3 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game since the beginning of March.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Scratched late with foot soreness
Aldama won't play in Wednesday's game against the Bucks due to right foot soreness. Aldama hadn't been listed on the injury report leading up to the opening tip, so his late scratch comes as a surprise. He'll be replaced by Trey Jemison in the starting lineup. Aldama's next chance to play will come Friday against Detroit for the opening portion of a back-to-back set. He should be expected to miss one of those games, if not both.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Questionable for Monday
Aldama (illness) has been upgraded to questionable in advance of Monday's game against Detroit. Aldama has a chance to return Monday after missing a Saturday's loss to Orlando due to illness. His status will need to be monitored, while Jake LaRavia and GG Jackson represented the Grizzlies' starting forwards in Aldama's stead Saturday.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Won't play Saturday
Aldama (illness) won't play Saturday against the Magic. Aldama had been listed as doubtful heading into Saturday, so his absence against Orlando comes as little surprise. Jake LaRavia, GG Jackson and Lamar Stevens are candidates to receive boosts in playing time with Aldama sidelined.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Doubtful for Saturday
Aldama is doubtful for Saturday's game against Orlando due to an illness. Aldama appeared in the Grizzlies' last six matchups, averaging 13.8 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 34.0 minutes per game. However, he'll likely be unavailable Saturday, which could lead to increased playing time for Jake LaRavia, GG Jackson and Lamar Stevens.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Leading rebounder in double-double
Aldama ended with 15 points (5-10 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 13 rebounds, three assists and one block across 34 minutes during Friday's 99-97 win over the Spurs. Aldama led all Grizzlies players in rebounds while ending as one of four players with 15 or more points en route to posting the lone double-double for Memphis in a winning effort. Aldama, who also handed out a trio of assists to go along with a team-high trio of threes, set a new season high in rebounds while notching his fifth double-double of the year.... See More ... Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Good to go Wednesday
Aldama (elbow) is available for Wednesday's game versus the Warriors. Aldama has been upgraded from questionable to available Wednesday despite dealing with nagging left elbow soreness. Aldama is averaging 12.8 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.4 blocks and 1.0 steals in 33.5 minutes across his last 10 appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Sniffs double-double
Aldama chipped in 14 points (5-11 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), nine rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals in 39 minutes during Monday's 121-111 overtime loss to the Kings. Aldama finished just one rebound shy of recording a double-double, but the Spaniard still delivered a strong performance on both ends of the court. It wouldn't be surprising if Aldama holds a starting role in the final weeks of the regular season, and on that note, he's scored in double figures in seven of his last eight starts, averaging 13.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.4 blocks per game in that span.... Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Iffy for Saturday
Aldama (elbow) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Thunder. Aldama was sidelined for Wednesday's loss to Charlotte, opening up a spot for GG Jackson in the starting lineup. Memphis' injury report continues to be tiresome, so it's unclear what the Grizzlies' rotation will look like until we know who's going to be available.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Won't play Wednesday
Aldama (elbow) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Hornets. Jaren Jackson (quadricep), Vince Williams (knee) and Lamar Stevens (groin) will be joining Aldama on the sideline Wednesday, so Jake LaRavia, GG Jackson and Trey Jemison should continue to get all the run they can handle in the Memphis frontcourt. Aldama's next chance to play will come Saturday against the Thunder.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Iffy for Wednesday
Aldama is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game versus the Hornets due to left elbow soreness. Aldama is in danger of missing his first contest since Feb. 4 due to the elbow injury. He was one of the few regular rotation players who were available Tuesday for the Grizzlies' 109-97 win over the Wizards, with Aldama contributing 11 points (5-14 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, two steals and one assist in 30 minutes.... Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Serviceable effort in win
Aldama totaled 11 points (5-14 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, one assist and two steals over 30 minutes during Tuesday's 109-97 victory over the Wizards. Aldama did just enough to satisfy managers, compiling a modest, yet mediocre line. Predicting the Grizzlies' rotation from one night to the next is impossible at this point. When available, Aldama makes for a viable streaming option, but fantasy managers will have to monitor Memphis' injury reports closely to ensure he's available on a nightly basis.... See More ... Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Solid numbers in Wednesday's win
Aldama recorded 17 points (6-13 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, seven assists, three blocks and one steal across 35 minutes during Wednesday's 115-109 victory over Philadelphia. The third-year big has caught fire from three-point range, going 10-for-23 (43.5 percent) over the last three games. Aldama's had trouble maintaining much consistency this season, but the injury-ravaged Grizzles will keep him giving him heavy minutes. Over 15 games since the beginning of February, he's averaging 10.5 points, 5.5 boards, 3.3 assists, 1.9 threes and 0.9 blocks.... See More ... See Less -
Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Goes for 21 points in OT loss
Aldama racked up 21 points (7-14 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 2-3 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and one block in 37 minutes during Saturday's 107-100 overtime loss to the Trail Blazers. Aldama bounced back from the ugly shooting performance he had against the Trail Blazers on Friday, when he finished with six points on 3-for-10 shooting. He responded by posting his first 20-point outing since Nov. 24. Aldama is one of several Memphis players who have been trusted into more significant roles as the season has progressed. Still, the Spaniard has done a good job overall, even if his recent displays have been subpar. He's averaging just 10.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game since the All-Star break.... See More ... Grizzlies' Santi Aldama: Poor shooting display Wednesday
Aldama ended with 11 points (5-13 FG, 1-3 3Pt), five rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two steals across 36 minutes during Wednesday's 110-101 loss to the Timberwolves. Even though Aldama scored in double digits for the first time since delivering 11 points in a loss to the Hornets on Feb. 10, the struggles continued for him. The Spaniard has now gone 10 games without surpassing the 15-point plateau, and what's even worse for him is that he's shooting a meager 39.1 percent from the field and 28 percent from deep in that stretch....
