Gilgeous-Alexander (quadriceps) is doubtful to play Friday against the Suns. Gilgeous-Alexander missed Wednesday's overtime loss to the Rockets due to a right quadriceps contusion, so it remains to be seen whether he'll be able to tolerate the pain enough to play, or if the Thunder will remain cautious with his recovery process given their position in the standings. If Gilgeous-Alexander ends up being ruled out Friday, then Cason Wallace could remain in the starting lineup.... See More ... See Less

Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Won't play Wednesday
Gigeous-Alexander has been ruled out for Wednesday's game versus the Rockets due to a right quadriceps contusion. Gilgeous-Alexander will sit out the second leg of the Thunder's back-to-back Wednesday due to a right quadriceps injury he suffered against Utah. Cason Wallace and Isaiah Joe are candidates to receive increased playing time in his absence. Gilgeous-Alexander's next chance to suit up is Friday's matchup with Phoenix.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: May be slowed by quad injury
Gilgeous-Alexander acknowledged after Tuesday's 119-112 win over the Pelicans that he's battling a quadricep injury, Ross Lovelace of SI.com reports. He finished the contest with 24 points (9-20 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), eight assists, five rebounds and two steals in 38 minutes. Gilgeous-Alexander admitted that he's been nursing the injury since the Thunder's 119-107 win over Utah on March 20, but he's suited up in each of the three ensuing games and hasn't faced any limitations. Oklahoma City will be heading into the second leg of a back-to-back set Wednesday versus Houston, and while the expectation is that Gilgeous-Alexander will play, fantasy managers will still want to get confirmation that he's starting before locking him into daily lineups. Though his minutes haven't been limited since he suffered the injury, Gilgeous-Alexander's form might be suffering as a result of the quad issue. Over his last three games, Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging 19.7 points, 6.0 assists, 5.0 rebounds, 2.7 steals, 0.7 three-pointers and 0.7 steals while shooting 44.2 percent from the field.... Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: All-around effort in Toronto
Gilgeous-Alexander contributed 23 points (9-20 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-6 FT), seven rebounds, eight assists, one block and three steals across 33 minutes during Friday's 123-103 win over the Raptors. The last time he faced off against the Raptors on Feb. 4, Gilgeous-Alexander was one rebound shy of registering a triple-double en route to a double-OT victory. Friday's contest wasn't as close as the first matchup, as the Thunder ballooned their lead to as much as 22 points thanks in large part to Gilgeous-Alexander's efforts. The All-Star point guard is averaging 29.7 points on 53.1 percent shooting, 6.1 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 1.1 blocks and 1.8 steals over 34.0 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Hits for 31 against Utah
Gilgeous-Alexander recorded 31 points (12-22 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three rebounds, seven assists and four steals in 33 minutes during Wednesday's 119-107 victory over the Jazz. The buckets just keep coming for Gilgeous-Alexander, who has reached 30 points in 11 of 14 games since the All-Star break. The 25-year-old guard has averaged 30.2 points, 6.0 boards, 5.7 assists, 1.7 steals, 1.7 threes and 1.1 blocks over that stretch while shooting 53.7 percent from the floor.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Limited to 20 points Saturday
Gilgeous-Alexander had 20 points (8-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-6 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and one block in 35 minutes during Saturday's 118-112 victory over the Grizzlies. Saying that Gilgeous-Alexander was "limited" to just 20 points should say everything fantasy managers need to know. One of the best all-around fantasy assets, regardless of the league and format, Gilgeous-Alexander continues to put up elite numbers every time he steps on the court, to the point that this outing was just a bump on the road for him. The star floor general should bounce back when the Thunder take on the Jazz on Wednesday.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Top scorer in near double-double
Gilgeous-Alexander produced 31 points (9-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 12-15 FT), nine rebounds, five assists and two steals across 37 minutes during Thursday's 126-119 win over Dallas. Gilgeous-Alexander led all Thunder players in scoring while posting a team-high rebound mark and a team-high-tying handful of assists. Gilgeous-Alexander, who ended one board short of a double-double, has tallied at least 30 points, nine rebounds and five assists in five games this season. He has surpassed the 30-point mark in four of his last five outings.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Big double-double against Indiana
Gilgeous-Alexander logged 30 points (12-27 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 10 rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals over 37 minutes during Tuesday's 121-111 loss to the Pacers. The 25-year-old guard didn't get enough help to avoid a loss but still delivered his eighth double-double of the season and first since Feb. 4. Gilgeous-Alexander's scoring remains elite, though -- he's hit for at least 30 points in 11 of the last 13 games, averaging 31.6 points, 5.9 assists, 5.5 boards, 1.8 threes, 1.6 steals and 1.3 blocks over that stretch while shooting 53.4 percent from the floor and 43.6 percent from long distance.... Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Shines in win over Miami
Gilgeous-Alexander closed Friday's 107-100 win over Miami with 37 points (13-25 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 9-11 FT), five rebounds, six assists, two blocks and one steal in 36 minutes. Gilgeous-Alexander was absolutely dominant in Friday's win, and even though he struggled a bit from three-point range, he finished with his second straight 37-point performance. Furthermore, Gilgeous-Alexander has now scored at least 30 points in all but one of his last 11 appearances, a span in which he's averaging 32.5 points, as well as 6.0 assists and 5.4 rebounds, per game.... Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Puts up 37 points in victory
Gilgeous-Alexander registered 37 points (13-23 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 11-12 FT), three rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal across 36 minutes during Wednesday's 128-120 win over the Trail Blazers. Gilgeous-Alexander got back on the 30-point train after failing to hit the mark in the loss to the Lakers. Few players in the league are as productive and consistent as Alexander, who is averaging 31.1 points, 6.5 assists, 5.6 rebounds and 2.1 steals this season.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Snaps 30-point streak in loss
Gilgeous-Alexander produced 20 points (5-13 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 9-9 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, two blocks and four steals over 30 minutes during Monday's 116-104 loss to the Lakers. Gilgeous-Alexander was unable to extend his streak of 30-point games as the Lakers took care of business against the top team in the West. The Thunder started hot with Gilgeous-Alexander leading the way, but they fell into a 2-for-21 shooting slump they never recovered from. The loss sent the Thunder a half-game behind the Timberwolves in the West, but they should be able to rack up a win on the road against the shorthanded Trail Blazers on Wednesday.... See More ... Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Flirts with triple-double in win
Gilgeous-Alexander registered 35 points (15-27 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 5-7 FT), eight rebounds, nine assists, three blocks and three steals in 38 minutes during Sunday's 118-110 victory over the Suns. Gilgeous-Alexander led a starting lineup that scored in double-digits across the board. The All-Star extended his streak of scoring 30-plus points to eight games, making him one of the most productive players in the league since the All-Star break. He made 227 shot attempts in the victory, marking his third-highest total of the season in the category. The guard's only demerit was beyond the arc, where he failed to make a shot in five attempts.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Extends 30-point streak in loss
Gilgeous-Alexander closed with 31 points (12-22 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 6-7 FT), six rebounds, three assists, one block and one steal over 35 minutes during Thursday's 132-118 loss to San Antonio. The Spurs pulled off the upset against the Thunder on Thursday, but Gilgeous-Alexander filled the stat sheet admirably and delivered another impressive performance on both ends of the court. His ability to rack up stats left and right is elite, but undoubtedly, the most impressive stat of his season has to be the fact that he remains a player who regularly reaches the 30-point mark despite the arrival of Chet Holmgren and the emergence of Jalen Williams as a reliable offensive weapon. Gilgeous-Alexander has scored 30 or more points in seven straight contests.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Erupts for 36 in Houston
Gilgeous-Alexander closed with 36 points (13-23 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 8-9 FT), five rebounds, seven assists, one block and three steals over 37 minutes during Sunday's 123-110 win over the Rockets. The 25-year-old guard continues to fill up the bucket, scoring at least 30 points for the fifth straight game and delivering more than 20 for the 17th straight contest. Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging 31.5 points, 7.4 assists, 5.1 boards, 1.9 steals, 1.5 threes and 1.2 blocks over that latter stretch while shooting 53.9 percent from the floor and a stunning 53.1 percent from beyond the arc.... Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Sniffs triple-double Friday
Gilgeous-Alexander produced 30 points (10-17 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 9-9 FT), seven rebounds, nine assists, one block and one steal in 30 minutes during Friday's 147-106 victory over the Wizards. The Thunder cruised to an easy win over the Wizards, and Gilgeous-Alexander delivered another dominant display, as he finished just one assist and three boards away from a triple-double despite logging just 30 minutes. The star floor general continues to perform at an elite level every time he steps on the court, and the numbers back him up, as he's been the engine that has kept the Thunder going all year. The All-Star guard has scored at least 30 points in four consecutive appearances while averaging 29.8 points, 8.0 assists and 4.9 rebounds per game in February.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Emerges from break with 31 points
Gilgeous-Alexander closed with 31 points (12-19 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 4-6 FT), four rebounds, eight assists, two blocks and one steal across 35 minutes during Thursday's 129-107 victory over the Clippers. Gilgeous-Alexander showed no mercy against the team that drafted him, dropping 19 points on 7-for-10 shooting in the first half. He finished with his third straight effort of 30-plus points while contributing solid numbers as a distributor and defender to continue what has been an MVP-caliber campaign. Gilgeous-Alexander ranks second in the NBA with 31.1 points per contest, leads the league with 2.1 steals per game and ranks 14th with 6.6 dimes per contest while adding 5.5 boards and shooting 54.7 percent from the field.... Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Pours in 32 in Orlando
Gilgeous-Alexander supplied 32 points (11-24 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 9-10 FT), three rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals across 34 minutes during Tuesday's 127-113 win over the Magic. The 25-year-old guard continues to deliver outstanding numbers. Gilgeous-Alexander has scored 23 or more points in 14 straight games and hit for at least 30 points 11 times over that stretch, averaging 31.4 points, 7.2 assists, 5.1 boards, 1.9 steals, 1.4 threes and 1.1 blocks while shooting 52.7 percent from the floor and an eye-popping 54.1 percent from long distance.... Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Massive in win Sunday
Gilgeous-Alexander closed Sunday's 127-113 win over the Kings with 38 points (15-26 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 5-9 FT), three rebounds, seven assists, two blocks and one steal over 39 minutes. Gilgeous-Alexander came just two points shy of reaching the 40-point mark for the sixth time this season, and the star point guard continues to perform at an elite level every time he steps on the court. Even though his offensive numbers had decreased a bit in recent games, at least compared to his lofty standards, Gilgeous-Alexander remains an above-average scorer who can also run the offense at an elite level. The star floor general is averaging 29.0 points, 8.4 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game in five February contests.... See More ... See Less -
Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Dominant in win
Gilgeous-Alexander ended Sunday's 135-127 double-overtime victory over the Raptors with 23 points (9-17 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), nine rebounds, 14 assists, three blocks and two steals in 48 minutes. Gilgeous-Alexander picked up his seventh double-double of the season and finished one board shy of his first triple-double. Gilgeous-Alexander has been borderline unfair in fantasy basketball over his last 10 games, ranking No. 1 overall in nine-category formats with 31.6 points, 7.7 assists, 5.5 rebounds, 2.3 steals, 1.1 blocks and 1.4 three-pointers.... Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Shoots around, iffy for Wednesday
Gilgeous-Alexander (illness) participated in the Thunder's morning shootaround but remains questionable for Wednesday's game against the Nuggets, Rylan Stiles of FanSided.com reports. The Thunder may wait until a little closer to the game's 8 p.m. ET tipoff before making a decision on Gilgeous-Alexander's status for the contest, but his involvement in shootaround bodes well for his availability. In the event the Thunder elect to hold Gilgeous-Alexander, Cason Wallace would likely take his spot in the starting five, while Josh Giddey would presumably take on more facilitating responsibilities....
