The Bucks waived Wigginton on Sunday. Milwaukee opened up two of its three two-way slots by cutting loose Wigginton and center Marques Bolden. Wigginton has been with the Bucks organization since the 2021-22 season, making him a strong candidate to stick with the franchise's G League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd, upon clearing waivers. The 25-year-old appeared in just three games at the NBA level in 2023-24.... See More ... See Less

Bucks' Lindell Wigginton: Paces Herd in points
Wigginton notched 21 points (7-14 FG, 2-6 3PT, 4-5 FT), three rebounds and two assists over 29 minutes of Thursday's 137-108 loss to Motor City. While Wisconsin found itself on the wrong end of a blowout, Wigginton managed to produce a strong stat line. He led the Herd in points and failed to record a single turnover in the contest.... Bucks' Lindell Wigginton: Moves to bench
Wigginton isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's preseason game against the Grizzlies, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports. Wigginton will be replaced by Cameron Payne in the starting five Tuesday. Once Damian Lillard (rest) returns to the lineup, Wigginton is unlikely to receive much playing time.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Lindell Wigginton: Likely suiting up Tuesday
Wigginton (undisclosed) is expected to play in Tuesday's Summer League game against the Nets, Jim Owczarski of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. Wigginton and AJ Green (undisclosed) are both expected to make their Summer League debuts Tuesday. Wigginton made four appearances for the Bucks in 2022-23.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Lindell Wigginton: Won't play Friday
Wigginton won't play in Friday's Summer League game against the Nuggets due to an undisclosed reason, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports. AJ Green (undisclosed) will also be unavailable, but it's possible both players are simply resting the first half of a back-to-back set and will be available for Saturday's game against the Suns in Las Vegas. If available, Wigginton, who starred for the Wisconsin Herd in the G League last year, should have a sizable role for Milwaukee's Summer League squad.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Lindell Wigginton: Drops back to bench role
Wigginton will appear off the bench Sunday versus the Raptors. Wigginton impressed in a rare start Friday, but he'll move to the bench with Jevon Carter playing and receiving the starting nod at point guard. Even with the move, the Bucks may limit Carter's workload which would afford Wigginton a decent amount of action.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Lindell Wigginton: Career-best performance Friday
Wigginton logged 25 points (10-20 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, 11 assists and one block over 41 minutes during Friday's 137-114 loss to the Grizzlies. Wigginton had the best game of his life Friday, putting up career-high numbers in points, assists, rebounds and three-pointers. Having secured the top spot in the East, the Bucks opted to rest all of their starters, something that could repeat itself Sunday. If that is the case, Wigginton is certainly someone to consider adding as a final-day flier.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Lindell Wigginton: Starting Friday
Wigginton is starting at point guard for Friday's game against the Grizzlies. The Bucks are opting to rest all their regular starters and some role players, so Wigginton will be a prime beneficiary. As a result, look for him to see a healthy workload.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Lindell Wigginton: Scores 32 points
Wigginton logged 32 points (12-16 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), eight assists, four rebounds and two steals across 42 minutes during the Herd's 118-116 win over Maine on Friday. Wigginton played three minutes across six games the Bucks played while they had him signed to a contract. They assigned the guard to their G League affiliate before Wisconsin's matchup Friday. In his first game back against Maine, Wigginton was the Herd's best scorer and distributor, both of which he is expected to continue being while they have him.... See More ... See Less -
Bucks' Lindell Wigginton: Gets two-way deal from Milwaukee
Wigginton signed a two-way contract with the Bucks on Tuesday. The 6-foot-1 guard will fill the two-way spot vacated by center Sandro Mamukelashvili, whom Milwaukee waived last week. Wigginton previously signed a two-way deal with the Bucks last January and appeared in 10 regular-season games for the team before being waived in October. Wigginton had since been playing for the Bucks' G League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd, with whom he's averaged 18.6 points, 5.8 assists and 3.9 rebounds in 33.5 minutes per game over 35 appearances (18 starts) in 2022-23.... Lindell Wigginton: Records 39 points
Wigginton logged 39 points (14-19 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 6-8 FT), four assists and two rebounds across 35 minutes during the Herd's 120-106 win over Salt Lake City on Tuesday. Heading into March, he is averaging 20.7 points across his 15 G League games this season.... See More ... See Less -
Lindell Wigginton: Scores 25 points
Wigginton logged 25 points (8-16 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 4-4 FT), nine rebounds and five assists across 39 minutes during the Herd's 123-122 win at Texas on Friday. Despite being one rebound short of logging a double-double, Wigginton was the Herd's best scorer as they logged their seventh win of 2023. With the Fort Wayne Mad Ants' acquisition of Jordan Bone and AJ Green being part of an NBA roster again, Wigginton is expected to excel for a Herd team that does not have as many scoring options as before.... Lindell Wigginton: Scores 20 during start
Wigginton logged 20 points (7-18 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 4-6 FT), six assists, two rebounds and two steals across 37 minutes during Wisconsin's 166-139 loss to Delaware on Saturday. AJ Green is back in the NBA, and Jordan Bone (undisclosed) is out injured. While both are unavailable, Wigginton will be Wisconsin's best guard available. If his latest game is any indication, he and Iverson Molinar will log many minutes as the Herd's starting backcourt. Currently, Wisconsin's only backup guard is recently-signed Jaire Grayer.... Lindell Wigginton: Returns from injury
Wigginton (undisclosed) logged two points (1-6 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 0-1 FT), five assists and two rebounds across 25 minutes during Wisconsin's 144-133 loss to Windy City on Friday. Wigginton returned from a three-game absence. The guard was a backup option Friday, which he could continue being now that Wisconsin has AJ Green, whom the Milwaukee Bucks have begun sending to their G League affiliate, available to play alongside Jordan Bone.... Wigginton (undisclosed) logged 21 points (6-14 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT), eight assists and three rebounds across 36 minutes during the Herd's 134-130 loss Monday at Motor City. Wigginton was excellent during his return from a two-game absence. Now that the 24-year-old can play again, he is expected to continue being the Herd's best scorer and distributor. Wigginton has averages of 22.6 points and 6.1 assists across his eight G League games.... See More ... See Less -
Lindell Wigginton: Out due to injury
Wigginton sat out the Herd's 127-118 win against Westchester on Wednesday because of an undisclosed injury. An undisclosed injury prevented Wigginton from participating as the Herd logged their fourth win of 2023. Jordan Bone and Rob Edwards are expected to the Herd's starting backcourt until Wigginton, who has been their best player this year, is available to play again.... See More ... See Less -
Lindell Wigginton: Makes six three-pointers
Wigginton logged 27 points (8-15 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 5-5 FT), six rebounds, five assists and two steals across 33 minutes during the Herd's 153-132 loss at Delaware on Monday.
