The Timberwolves will sign Warren to a rest-of-season contract Tuesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Warren's second 10-day contract with the Timberwolves expired Tuesday, but he'll remain with the club for the final few weeks of the season. He's averaged 4.1 points and 2.3 rebounds in 14.0 minutes per game over his seven appearances with the team but hasn't appeared in either of the last two matchups.... See More ... See Less

T.J. Warren: Contract with Minnesota expires
Warren became a free agent Tuesday after his second 10-day contract with the Timberwolves expired, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports. Warren has spent the past few weeks with Minnesota, averaging 4.1 points and 2.3 rebounds in 14.0 minutes per game over seven appearances. He fell out of the rotation in recent games, but if the Timberwolves hope to retain him after his second 10-day contract expired, they'll have to sign him to a rest-of-season contract.... Timberwolves' T.J. Warren: Re-ups with Minnesota
Warren agreed to a second 10-day contract with the Timberwolves on Saturday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. After Warren's second 10-day deal expires, he will have to sign a rest-of-season contract if Minnesota wants to retain him. The veteran forward is shooting just 14.3 percent on 1.8 three-point attempts per contest across his four appearances with the Timberwolves.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' T.J. Warren: Deal expires
Warren's 10-day contract with Timberwolves expired Saturday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports. Warren is eligible to sign a second 10-day deal with Minnesota but would have to sign for the rest of the season after that. The 30-year-old forward averaged 4.8 points and 2.0 rebounds in 16.0 minutes across his four appearances for the Timberwolves.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' T.J. Warren: Available to make debut Thursday
Warren will be officially available to make his Minnesota debut against the Pacers on Thursday, Alan Horton of the Timberwolves Radio Network reports. Warren signed a 10-day contract with the Timberwolves on Wednesday, and he'll be available right away. Warren should see minutes off the bench, but he's not expected to play a prominent role in his first game with his new team.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' T.J. Warren: Officially joins Minnesota
The Timberwolves signed Warren to a 10-day contract Wednesday. Warren averaged 7.5 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 16.4 minutes during his last NBA stint in 42 appearances for the Nets and Suns in 2022-23. While it's unclear where Warren will fit into Minnesota's rotation, he should be available for Thursday's matchup with Indiana.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' T.J. Warren: Joining Minnesota via 10-day
The Timberwolves plan to sign Warren to a 10-day contract early next week, pending a physical, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Warren last played in the NBA during the 2022-23 campaign, when he started the season with Brooklyn before being traded to the Suns. In his prime years, the 6-foot-8 forward could score in bunches, but he's not a lock to be included in the rotation during his upcoming stint with Minnesota. The Timberwolves have needed forward depth all season, and that need has become more apparent with Kyle Anderson (knee) sitting out the past two games.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' T.J. Warren: Rare appearance Friday
Warren amassed seven points (3-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist and one block over 26 minutes during Friday's 121-114 win over the Nuggets in Game 3 of the Western Conference Semifinals. Warren re-entered the rotation Friday, playing 26 minutes as the Suns went with a slightly deeper rotation. Despite the meaningful minutes, Warren managed just seven points, most of which came during the final quarter. With Chris Paul (groin) set to miss Game 4, Warren could remain in the rotation, at least for the short term.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' T.J. Warren: Back at practice Wednesday
Warren (illness) was present during Wednesday's practice, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports. Warren missed the final three games of the regular season due to an illness, but his presence at practice suggests he's good to go for playoff action. Before he was sidelined, the backup wing posted 7.3 points and 4.1 rebounds in 18.3 minutes over his past eight appearances, but it's unclear what his role will be during the Suns' opening-round matchup against the Clippers.... Suns' T.J. Warren: Out for regular-season finale
Warren (illness) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Clippers, Gerald Bourguet of GoPHNX.com reports. As expected, Warren has been downgraded from doubtful to out and will miss a third straight game due to an illness. He should have plenty of time to recover from the ailment before postseason play begins next weekend.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' T.J. Warren: Unlikely to play in finale
Warren (illness) is doubtful for Sunday's tilt against the Clippers, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports. Warren has missed the past two games due to an illness and is expected to remain shelved for the finale. It's unclear if he'll have a significant role in the playoffs, but he's seen double-digit minutes in eight straight appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' T.J. Warren: Remains out Friday
Warren (illness) is out for Friday's game versus the Lakers, Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com reports. Warren will miss his second straight game Friday due to illness. With the Suns' star Big 4 also out, Josh Okogie, Terrence Ross, Torrey Craig and Ish Wainright will likely receive increased roles. Warren's next chance to suit up is Sunday's regular-season finale versus the Clippers.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' T.J. Warren: Out Thursday
Warren has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Nuggets due to an illness, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports. Warren typically logs minutes in the lower-teens, so his absence from the active roster won't make many ripples in fantasy hoops. His next chance to play will come Friday against the Lakers.... Suns' T.J. Warren: Plays 16 minutes Friday
Warren contributed four points (2-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt), six rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals across 16 minutes during Friday's 100-93 win over the Nuggets. Warren has finally carved out a solid role with his new -- and old -- squad, averaging 8.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.5 steals-plus-blocks in 20.7 minutes over his past six appearances. However, when the Suns' starting lineup is fully intact, Warren's playing time and usage haven't been enough to guarantee him fantasy intrigue.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' T.J. Warren: Limited role in loss
Warren tallied zero points (0-3 FG) and two rebounds in six minutes during Tuesday's 116-104 loss to the Bucks. Warren is averaging 1.1 points and 2.0 rebounds in 6.4 minutes across his last eight appearances since being traded to Phoenix. Even with Kevin Durant (ankle) out, Warren has been unable to find much of a role. The 28-year-old forward shouldn't garner much fantasy interest.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' T.J. Warren: Limited in Suns debut
Warren recorded five points (2-3 FG, 1-1 3Pt), two rebounds and one steal across seven minutes during Tuesday's 120-109 win over the Kings. Warren played just seven minutes in his return to Phoenix, a figure that is almost certainly going to rise in the coming weeks. Fans will remember his performance from the bubble, and while he is certainly not the same player he was then, he can provide the Suns with a nice scoring punch off the bench. It's unlikely he sees enough time to have value outside of deeper formats, but even those in 12-team leagues should at least keep an eye on things moving forward.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' T.J. Warren: Will be available Tuesday
Warren (recently traded) will be available for Tuesday's matchup against the Kings, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports. Warren was acquired by the Suns in the deal that landed them Kevin Durant (knee), but he wasn't able to suit up for last Friday's matchup against the Pacers. He's now presumably gotten a chance to practice with his new teammates and will be available to make his Suns debut versus Sacramento. Phoenix had to give up two key wing players and won't have Durant available for awhile, so Warren figures to garner a major role for his new squad moving forward.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' T.J. Warren: Won't debut Friday
Warren (recently traded) won't play Friday against the Pacers, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports. The 29-year-old was traded from the Nets to the Suns on Thursday as part of a blockbuster deal that also sent Kevin Durant (knee) to Phoenix, but Warren won't be available for Friday's road game. However, the Suns return home to face the Kings on Tuesday, and it wouldn't be surprising to see Warren make his team debut at that point.... See More ... See Less -
Suns' T.J. Warren: Joining Durant in Phoenix
The Suns acquired Warren and Kevin Durant (knee) from the Nets on Thursday in exchange for Mikal Bridges, Cameron Johnson, Jae Crowder, unprotected first-round picks in 2023, 2025, 2027 and 2029 and a 2028 first-round pick swap, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Durant is the obvious headliner for the Suns, but they'll also replace some forward depth with the addition of Warren, who is shooting 51 percent from the field in 18.9 minutes per game this season (26 appearances). In Phoenix, where Warren spent the first five years of his career, he should have a chance to earn a larger role and help fill the shoes of the departed Bridges and Johnson. Expect Warren to primarily compete with Damion Lee, Torrey Craig and Dario Saric for minutes.... See More ... See Less -
Nets' T.J. Warren: Off injury report
Warren (shin) is not on the injury report for Tuesday's game against the Suns. Warren returned from a four-game absence due to a left shin bruise during Monday's loss to the Clippers, posting eight points and one rebound in 12 minutes. His shin is feeling good after the time off, so he'll be available to play in the second leg of the back-to-back set, though likely in only a limited role off the bench.... See More ... See Less
