The veteran right-hander was removed from Cleveland's 40-man roster over the weekend and is now officially a free agent after passing through waivers unclaimed. Syndergaard has posted a 6.50 ERA in 18 starts this season for the Dodgers and Guardians but could latch on with some team in need of an arm to eat innings.
