Wilson is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the White Sox, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.
Since Wilson was behind the dish for the nightcap of Wednesday's doubleheader, he'll be given Thursday off with the series finale beginning at 2:10 p.m. EDT. John Hicks will spell Wilson as the Tigers' catcher.
