Benson is not in the Reds' lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rockies.
The lefty-hitting Benson will begin Tuesday's game on the bench with the Rockies starting southpaw Ty Blach. The Reds' starting outfield will consist of Blake Dunn in left, TJ Friedl in center and Stuart Fairchild in right.
