Walls is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Mariners, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Walls had a rare big night offensively in Tuesday's 11-3 win over Seattle, going 3-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and a run scored. He'll begin Wednesday's game on the bench, enabling Jose Caballero to pick up a start at shortstop.
