Cowser is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Rays.
Cowser started in the series opener Friday, going 1-for-4 with three strikeouts. The lefty-hitting Cedric Mullins will start in center field Saturday and bat ninth against Rays right-hander Taj Bradley.
