San Francisco is optimistic that Chapman (hamstring) will be back in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against Houston, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Chapman is missing his second straight contest Monday due to a hamstring cramp, but his absence isn't expected to last much longer. The Giants figure to re-evaluate the third baseman in the morning before making a final decision on his availability for Tuesday.
