Kelly (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga on Tuesday.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts implied this past weekend that Kelly was unlikely to return before the All-Star break, but this would seem to indicate that he could be a little ahead of schedule. The right-handed reliever has missed nearly two months with a right shoulder strain, so he would figure to require a few rehab appearances before being activated.
