Cardinals' Jordan Walden: Placed on 15-day DL

Walden (shoulder) was placed on the 15-day DL on Saturday, MLB.com reports.

The DL move is retroactive to March 31, meaning that Walden won't be able to pitch for the Cardinals until at least mid-April. He was sidelined for the latter portion of spring training due to the shoulder injury.
