Cunniff was recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett on Saturday.

As a member of the 40-man roster, it's no surprise the Braves called on Cunniff to bolster the big league bullpen depth in September. Aaron Blair (knee strain) was placed on the 15-day DL in a corresponding move.
