Stevenson spent the summer in Carolina's camp but was placed on the PUP list with an undisclosed injury. He was eventually cut last month but now appears healthy. Stevenson was drafted by Buffalo when Giants coach Brian Daboll was with the Bills.

Stevenson (undisclosed) was waived from the Panthers' reserve/PUP list Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Stevenson was set to open the 2023 season on the sidelines while dealing with an undisclosed injury, but if he clears waivers and passes a physical, he can now sign to any team's active roster. The wide receiver last appeared in an NFL game in 2021, operating mostly as a special-teams option for the Bills over five contests.

Panthers' Marquez Stevenson: Reverts to PUP

After being cut with a failed physical just one day prior, Stevenson has reverted to the Panthers' reserve/PUP list. This designation means the wideout must miss at least the first four games of the 2023 season if he makes the active roster. The 25-year-old appeared in five games for the Bills in 2021 and was a member of Cleveland's practice squad in 2022 before joining Carolina.

Stevenson signed with Carolina on Tuesday, Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Stevenson was waived by the Browns last Tuesday after inking a reserve/future deal with the team in January. The 25-year-old is most known for a stint in Buffalo that was unfortunately hampered by multiple injuries after he was selected in the 2021 Draft. Now healthy again, Stevenson will try to win a depth role in the Panthers' wide receiver corps.

Stevenson joined Cleveland's practice squad last December after recovering from a foot injury he suffered while with Buffalo. The 25-year-old then inked a reserve/future contract with the team in January. However, it now appears Stevenson will need to find an opportunity elsewhere.

The Browns signed Stevenson to a reserve/future contract Monday.
Stevenson opened the regular season on Buffalo's IR with a foot injury and was activated Dec. 6, but he was quickly waived the following day. The second-year wideout then spent a short stint on the Bills' practice squad before joining up with Cleveland's in mid-December. Stevenson finished the 2022 campaign without appearing in a game, and he'll now compete for an active-roster spot with the Browns this offseason.

The sixth-rounder from last season has played only five games with the Bills while dealing with some injuries and difficulty getting up to speed with the pro game. For now, the playoff-bound Bills are looking more for experience than speed, so they signed Cole Beasley on Tuesday while Stevenson was on the way out.

Stevenson will return to Buffalo after he was waived by the team Wednesday and went unclaimed on the open market. The 24-year-old was just activated from injured reserve Tuesday following a foot injury, and he will provide the Bills with another depth option at wide receiver. Based on his impressive speed, it's possible that he could work his way into the return game at some point as well.

As expected, the Bills sent Stevenson to waivers with the expectation that they'll be able to sign him to their practice squad as long as he isn't snatched up by another team. The 24-year-old suffered a foot injury early in training camp and has been unavailable up until his activation from injured reserve Tuesday. If Stevenson is indeed added to Buffalo's practice squad, pending waivers, then he'd serve as additional wide receiver depth for the time being.
