Scott reeled in his only target for a 16-yard gain Sunday in a drubbing at the hands of the Seahawks, collecting a total of nine snaps on offense with one more on special teams. The appearance marked Scott's first since he suited up three times for the Ravens during 2019.

Scott got the nod for Sunday's trip to Arrowhead Stadium, though he was not ultimately deployed in game action. The 25-year-old is yet to make an appearance this season after recording one catch in three games played for Baltimore during 2019.

The 2018 fourth-round pick was stashed on injured reserve as a rookie and served as a healthy scratch for 13 of 16 games last season. The Ravens have seen enough potential to keep Scott around so far, but the math could change after the team used a third-round pick on Devin Duvernay and a sixth-rounder on James Proche this year. With Duvernay, Marquise Brown, Miles Boykin and Willie Snead already locked in for roster spots, Scott may end up competing with a horde of players for just one or two jobs.

Ravens' Jaleel Scott: Invisible again in 2019
Scott appeared in three games in 2019, catching one of three targets for six yards on 17 offensive snaps.
The second-year wideout failed to make an impact once again in 2019 despite Baltimore having meager talent at receiver beyond Marquise Brown and Willie Snead. Scott, a former fourth-round selection, played all 17 of his offensive snaps Week 17 when Baltimore was resting its main contributors. He's a big-bodied receiver at 6-foot-5 and 210 pounds, but his movement skills are well below average for an NFL receiver even when adjusting for his size. With that, Scott has a thin margin for error for success at this level that shrinks with each season that he fails to get on the field. Scott may have a tough time sticking on the 53-man roster in 2020 if Baltimore overhauls its receiving corps as expected.
