Auden Tate: Gets cut loose
Tate was released by the Cardinals on Monday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.comreports.
Tate spent most of the 2022 season on the Eagles' practice squad before receiving a reserve/future contract with Arizona in January. The 26-year-old is best known for his time with the Bengals, with whom he appeared in 35 contests over four seasons, making 61 catches (on 118 targets) for 799 yards and two touchdowns. He'll now work to find a new opportunity.

Cardinals' Auden Tate: Gets another deal with Cardinals
Tate signed a reserve/future contract with Arizona on Monday, Howard Balzer of GoPHNX.com reports.
Tate spent the majority of the 2022 campaign on and off the Eagles' practice squad before joining up with Arizona on Jan. 4. This marked the first time in the 25-year-old's career that he did not appear in a regular-season game, and he has now accumulated 17 receptions since the 2019 season. Tate figures to compete for a depth role in this heavily stocked receiving corps.

Auden Tate: Joins Cardinals' practice squad
Tate was signed to the Cardinals' practice squad Wednesday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Tate will join Arizona after being let go from the Eagles' practice unit Dec. 13. The wide receiver has spent the entirety of the season on and off of Philadelphia's practice squad, but he'll now provide the Cardinals with an additional depth option in Week 18. With DeAndre Hopkins (knee) and Robbie Anderson (back) both banged up, it's possible that Tate is elevated to the active roster for Sunday's regular season finale against the 49ers.

The Eagles cut Tate from their practice squad Tuesday.
Less than two weeks after re-signing with the practice squad, Tate is once again headed to waivers after Philadelphia moved to cut him. The 25-year-old wideout has yet to play a snap in 2022 and is set to become an unrestricted free agent if he's not claimed by another team during the current waiver period.

It's been a whirlwind week for Tate, as he was let go from the Eagles' practice squad last Tuesday, re-signed to the same practice squad Thursday and has now been let go again. The Florida State alum has yet to log an NFL snap this season after totaling 61 receptions for 799 yards and two touchdowns over four seasons with the Bengals from 2018 to 2021.

Tate signed with the Eagles' practice squad Thursday.
Tate was just cut from the team's practice squad Tuesday, after he had originally signed with them Sept. 7. The fifth-year-pro has yet to appear in a game this season, but he'll continue to work to earn a chance with the active roster. With A.J. Brown (ankle), DeVonta Smith (knee) and Britain Covey (thigh) all questionable for Sunday against the Colts, Tate may get that opportunity sooner rather than later.

Falcons' Auden Tate: Working with backups
Tate played 14 offensive snaps and caught one of two targets for seven yards during Friday's preseason opener against the Lions.
Tate worked with the backups and isn't projected to make the Falcons' initial 53-man roster, per Scott Bair and Tori McElhaney of the team's official site reports. Many believed that if Tate stayed healthy he'd be competing for one of the top spots on the depth chart, but he now finds himself near the bottom after strong showings from Damiere Byrd and KhaDarel Hodge. There's still plenty of preseason left, but Tate will have to prove he's still capable of what he showed with Cincinnati in 2019, when he finished with 40 catches and 575 yards across 12 appearances.
