Texans' Lane Taylor: Placed on reserve/COVID-19 list
The Texans placed Taylor on the reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday after he tested positive for the virus, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.
The Texans will now be without both of their starting guards for Week 15, as right guard Justin McCray was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list earlier in the week. Max Scharping is expected to start in place of McCray, while Cole Toner or Jimmy Morrissey could replace Taylor at left guard.

After tearing his ACL during Week 1 of the 2020 season, Taylor's recovering well and is expected to be ready for training camp. The 31-year-old is reuniting with his former Green Bay OL Coach James Campen and will aim to provide a notable boost to Houston's offensive line for the 2021 campaign.

Lane Taylor: Continues to draw interest

Taylor is six months removed from ACL surgery, though he's gaining plenty of interest from teams around the NFL. He visited the 49ers in mid-March and appears to be right on track in his rehab. Lane Taylor: Checks in with San Francisco
Taylor (knee-ACL) visited the 49ers on Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
In what Rapoport characterized to be a quasi-medical check-in, a source indicated that Taylor's recovery from a torn ACL remains "on schedule". Taylor suffered the injury Week 1 of last season against Minnesota, and he went without an appearance for the remainder of Green Bay's run to the NFC Championship Game. The year prior, Taylor managed just two appearances before suffering a left biceps injury and missing the remainder of the 2019 season.

Packers' Lane Taylor: Restructures deal
Taylor (biceps) and the Packers have restructured the final year of his his contract, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
It is unclear exactly how the contract was reworked, but it should result in about $3 million more in 2020 cap space for Green Bay. Taylor is now due $1.5 million, including a $100,000 signing bonus. The guard had his season end early in 2019 due to a biceps injury. There has not been much news regarding his progress, but there is no indication he will not be ready for 2020.

Taylor (biceps) will undergo surgery on his left bicep muscle, which rules out any potential return from injured reserve this season, Tom Silverstein of The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
