It might be one of those afternoons for Iowa. The Hawkeyes trailed Michigan State -- a somewhat surprising three-point favorite heading into Saturday -- 17-7 in the second half, but had an opportunity to close the gap. Iowa quarterback Nathan Stanley was leading a 12-play drive that got the ball just outside the Michigan State goal line when the almost impossible happened.

Stanley, looking to pass, instead fumbled the ball into the air. It figures that nine times out of 10, the ball would fall to the ground. However, Michigan State's Joe Bachie made an incredible effort play to secure the pick ...

The Spartans weren't able to do anything with the turnover, but it was a crucial defensive stop and turnover in the red zone, even if it wasn't entirely on the defense.
