Game Recap

On Friday, the Colorado Buffaloes were out to avenge their 38-21 loss to the Utah Utes from their previous meeting last December, but they had no such luck. Colorado lost to Utah on the road by a decisive 28-13 margin. The Buffaloes haven't found any success against Utah since Nov. 26 of 2016, this defeat making it five in a row.

It was another big night for Utah's RB Tavion Thomas, who rushed for one TD and 142 yards on 25 carries. QB Cameron Rising had a good game, too, finishing with three touchdowns.

Colorado's defeat pushed them down to 4-8. The victory bumped the Utes' record up to 9-3. With that, the South Division playoffs come to an end.
