No. 1 -- What's LB Skov's status? LB
Shayne Skov's rehab from a knee injury is on schedule and he is expected to be ready for fall camp. However, the fallout from a Jan. 29 arrest for allegedly driving under the influence is unclear. Coach David Shaw would not divulge the details of Skov's punishment, but he said it was handled internally.
No. 2 -- What leaders will emerge? Offensively, RB
Stepfan Taylor, C
Sam Schwartzstein and TEs Zach Ertz and
Levine Toilolo have already taken bigger roles as vocal leaders, Shaw said. That's a good sign because replacing what QB
Andrew Luck was able to do from a leadership standpoint is not a one-person job.
No. 3 -- WR depth? Ty Montgomery is the only returning WR who had more than eight catches last season and could miss the entire spring with a hand injury. Candidates to work their way into the WR rotation include
Drew Terrell,
Jamal-Rashad Patterson,
Jemari Roberts and
Jordan Pratt.
