Hugh Freeze and the Auburn Tigers have lost three of their last four games after blowing a 21-10 lead against the Oklahoma Sooners last week. The road doesn't get any easier in Week 6 as the Tigers travel to play Carson Beck and the No. 5 Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs have dominated this rivalry in recent years, winning seven consecutive games against the Tigers. The latest Week 6 college football odds via SportsLine consensus list Georgia as the 22.5-point favorite in that SEC showdown.

Elsewhere in the SEC, Alabama travels to Nashville to take on Vanderbilt after knocking off Georgia in an instant classic last weekend. The Crimson Tide are favored by 23 points, but should you include Alabama in your Week 6 college football bets? Before locking in any Week 6 college football picks on those games or others, be sure to see the college football betting guide from legendary Vegas handicapper Bruce Marshall

Top college football predictions for Week 6

One of the top college football picks Marshall is recommending for Week 6: He's backing the red-hot Indiana Hoosiers to cover the 13.5-point spread against Northwestern in a 3:30 p.m. ET matchup.

The Hoosiers feature one of college football's most explosive offenses. Indiana is scoring 48.8 points per game, which ranks third in college football. Quarterback Kurtis Rourke has been sensational for the Hoosiers this season, completing 73.2% of his passes for 1,372 yards, 11 touchdowns and two interceptions.

Indiana's ground game has also been extremely effective, with three different players recording at least four rushing touchdowns. As a team, Indiana has rushed for over 1,000 yards and 21 touchdowns already. That doesn't bode well for a Northwestern offense that is scoring just 17.2 points per game, which ranks 122nd in the nation. Those trends have him pointing to an Indiana cover and the Over (42.5) in this one. See which other picks to make here
