The Marshall Thundering Herd (8-4) and the Connecticut Huskies (6-6) link up in the 2022 Myrtle Beach Bowl on Monday afternoon. Marshall will be playing in its ninth straight bowl game, but looks to snap a three-game losing streak in such games. These teams met in the 2015 St. Petersburg Bowl with Marshall coming out on top 16-10. This is the first bowl appearance since that point for UConn as the Huskies exceeded expectations in Jim Mora Jr.'s first year.
