Sanogo played a few extra minutes in the loss, shifting up in the rotation following an ankle injury to Andre Drummond after just five minutes. Sanogo signed a two-way contract with Chicago on Friday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Sanogo helped lead Connecticut to the national title last year and earned Final Four Most Outstanding Player honors. He averaged 17.2 points and 7.7 rebounds in 26.5 minutes per game during his final season with the Huskies and will now compete for a roster spot with the Bulls.
