The Purdue Boilermakers (24-3) enter the weekend as the projected top overall seed in the 2024 NCAA Tournament according to Jerry Palm of CBS Sports, and they'll look to keep it rolling on Sunday against the Michigan Wolverines (8-19). Michigan has struggled mightily and coach Juwan Howard is feeling the heat. The Wolverines have, however, been feisty underdogs at times, beating Wisconsin and Iowa this season. The Boilermakers will need to be focused on the road, especially after dropping a game at Ohio State last Sunday despite being 7.5-point favorites in that one.

Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. ET at the Crisler Center in Ann Arbor, Mich. The latest Michigan vs. Purdue odds from SportsLine consensus list the Boilermakers as 13.5-point favorites, while the over/under for total points is 152. College basketball picks for Michigan vs. Purdue

Before tuning into the Purdue vs. Michigan game, you need to see the college basketball picks from SportsLine's advanced computer model. The model simulates every Division I college basketball game 10,000 times. It enters Week 16 of the 2023-24 season on a 136-89 roll on all top-rated college basketball picks dating back to last season, returning nearly $2,500 for $100 players. It is also off to a sizzling 25-13 start on top-rated spread picks this season. Anyone following has seen huge returns.

For Purdue vs. Michigan, the model projects the Wolverines to cover the spread as 13.5-point underdogs. These two teams are on opposite ends of the Big Ten standings, but the Wolverines have had success in this series in recent years. Michigan is 6-3 in its last nine meetings against the Boilermakers, and Purdue showed it is vulnerable to an upset in its last road game. Ohio State knocked off the Boilermakers 73-69 last Sunday as the Boilermakers struggled to get things going on offense.

Purdue's bench scored just four points in that defeat, and SportsLine's model is calling for the Wolverines to do enough on defense that stay within the number. Michigan is limiting opponents to 36.04% on 3-point attempts this season, a big reason why the Wolverines cover the spread well over 50% of the time. Stream the game here.
